Keep Your Equipment Clean and Dry

  1. Make sure you keep your equipment in a clean and dry area, most exercise equipment will have some steel parts in them that can rust in humid locations. Over time, it can cause the equipment to become noisier and cause premature wear and tear.
  2. Wipe down your equipment with a dry or mildly damp towel after each workout. The salt and other things in your sweat can seep into different parts of your machines, causing sticky buildup or corrosion over time.

Regular Checks and Maintenance

  1. Lubricate your treadmills: Most treadmills need periodic lubrication to run smoothly and avoid premature breakdown, check your owners’ manual for specific guides on how to do this. This is also part of our maintenance service, so you can give us a call and we would be happy to have our experienced technicians do this for you.
  2. Check for loose parts: With regular use some parts may loosen over time and require retightening.
  3. Check your owners’ manual or equipment manufacturer’s websites: It will go over any maintenance steps that should be done to keep your machine running smoothly.
